1) Determinantion of molecular markers of drought resistance in Barley. Up to now we studied the presence of the Hsdr4 gene in drought resistant and vulnerable barley. The next question we are targeting, and which was supported by an Eötvös Loránd Student Grant (TÁMOP 4.2.4.A/2-11-1-2012-0001) for Ildikó Schmidthoffer  Msc student, is the expression of this gene upon stress. We are using quantitative PCR method to answer this question.
